I am excited to report that Tallahassee Community College has set a new institutional record for one of our most important student success metrics – graduation. As of our most recent student cohort, TCC’s three-year graduation rate now stands at a historic 42 percent. In twelve short months, we became the first Florida College System institution to be approved by the Florida Department of Education to sponsor public charter schools. We then became the sponsor for Tallahassee Collegiate Academy, our community’s first STEM-focused public charter high school where students have the opportunity to earn an Associate of Science degree in a STEM field simultaneously with their high school diploma.
