Welcoming Shelly Bell
It is my privilege to announce that Shelly Bell has agreed to join TCC as Vice President for Workforce Innovation effective July 24.
Shelly comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in education, the last six of which have been spent as Director of Lively Technical College where she oversaw Career, Technical, and Adult Education throughout Leon County Schools. Prior to that she served in numerous leadership roles at LCS including as Principal of Godby High School.
As Vice President, Shelly will lead the Division of Workforce Development and also serve on the College’s Executive Team as an advocate for career and technical education both on campus and in our community.
While Dr. Kimberly Moore certainly leaves big shoes to fill, Shelly’s connections in the community and her experience in career and technical education will allow her to start making an impact on her very first day, particularly as we work to strengthen the ties between the programs at TCC and Lively Technical College. Most importantly, her passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential by finding a meaningful career path make her an ideal candidate to lead the division going forward.
Please join me in welcoming Shelly Bell to TCC!
