Dr. Kimberly Moore Resignation
I wanted to share with you all that Vice President Kimberly Moore has submitted her resignation as she has accepted a position with Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona as their first-ever Chief Workforce Innovation Officer. In her new role, she will be responsible for launching a newly-created division that aligns and grows their Regional Economic Development and Small Business Development centers. Her last day with us will be July 7.
Kim’s impact on TCC cannot be overstated. She served as Vice President of Workforce Innovation for more than a decade and in that time we established service centers in Gadsden and Wakulla counties, launched the Commercial Vehicle Driving program, expanded the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center with a new state-of-the-art welding lab, and established landmark partnerships with the Florida Departments of Corrections and Juvenile Justice as part of our Second Chances program. She also expanded our apprenticeship offerings and increased career and technical education enrollment by 165%.
I am incredibly proud of all that Kim has accomplished in her career here. I am grateful to her for always giving our students and our College her all, and have no doubt she will bring that same passion and commitment to Yavapai College.
Please join me in congratulating Kim and wishing her all the best in her new role!
